About Caledonia Construction Ltd

My name is Kieran Downey. I am one of the directors of Caledonia Construction.
I have over 25 years’ experience in the Construction industry as a bricklayer and have a Bachelor of Science Degree with Honours in Construction management.
During my time in the industry I have been a bricklayer, director, construction lecturer, project manager and site manager for various Construction companies.
I am currently working towards my full chartered membership with the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB).
I am a great believer in building to the highest standards with a ‘right first time’ attitude.
Our company will guarantee to deliver the highest quality of workmanship to timescales which are realistic.
Our current projects include renovations and restorations as well as barn and garage conversations.
My name is Gary Sheppard. I have been a carpenter/joiner for almost 25 years.
I have worked on many high profile domestic projects, most of which are bespoke and to the highest standard of joinery workmanship.
This has helped me develop have a vast knowledge and experience within the Construction industry.
I am proud to be a joint director at Caledonia Construction and bring my knowledge and skills set to the company, giving our clients the high standards they expect to see in their projects.
I am John Gardiner, I am a fully qualified plasterer with 22 years’ experience in the construction industry.
I also have vast experience in management and have been a foreman for many years.
I think Caledonia construction offers something unique from other companies; as all three partners are excellent tradesmen and each of us deal with each project personally. We all get involved from planning, design, to carrying out the work to the highest standard, which is part of our personal project management service; this keeps the costs down and our clients happy.
I am Blair Gourley, I am one of the apprentices at Caledonia Construction.
I have been working in Construction for the past three years after making a choice to become a tradesman rather than accepting my unconditional university offer. I have been Gary’s apprentice for nearly three years now. In this time I have learned a lot of skills from Gary, John and Kieran as a lot of the time I spend learning other trades too. Caledonia Construction believes in developing a more general knowledge in Construction and not just specific trades, which gives me a good understanding of the Construction industry.
